1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GDPR Fix ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

GDPR Fix is a web application that scans websites for cookie compliance issues, analyzes privacy policies, and generates compliance reports using AI. The Service is provided on a freemium basis — basic scanning is free, and detailed reports can be unlocked by purchasing scan credits.

3. Account Registration

• You must sign in with a valid Google account to use the Service.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
• One person or entity per account. Automated account creation is prohibited.

4. Acceptable Use

You may use the Service to scan websites that you own, manage, or have authorization to test. You agree not to:

• Use the Service to scan websites for malicious purposes
• Attempt to overload, disrupt, or exploit the scanning infrastructure
• Circumvent rate limits or usage restrictions
• Resell or redistribute scan results as a competing service
• Use automated tools to bulk-scan websites beyond the rate limits

5. Free Scans and Credit Packs

• Free scan: 1 free preview scan per account. Includes compliance score, issue counts, cookie breakdown, consent checks, and policy checklist. Detailed report requires credits.
• 1 Detailed Scan (€3): Unlocks the full report for one scan — detailed issue remediation, AI-generated cookie policy, and copy-to-LLM prompts.
• 10 Scans (€10): 10 credits for scanning and unlocking detailed reports. Credits do not expire.

We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice.

6. Billing

• Credit packs are one-time purchases processed via Creem.io.
• Credits are added to your account immediately after purchase and do not expire.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support within 7 days of a charge.

7. Disclaimer

GDPR Fix provides automated compliance scanning and AI-generated analysis. Our reports are informational tools, not legal advice. We do not guarantee that following our recommendations will make your website fully GDPR compliant. You should consult a qualified legal professional for compliance decisions.

Scan accuracy depends on the website's behavior at the time of scanning. Dynamic content, A/B tests, geolocation-based variations, and server-side changes may affect results.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GDPR Fix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by GDPR Fix. Scan reports generated for your websites are yours to use. The AI-generated cookie policy text is provided for your use and may be freely published on your website.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, abuse the Service, or engage in activities that harm other users or our infrastructure. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the applicable member state where the operator is established. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
